They enabled him to continue making wrong, hurtful choices, blaming his friends for getting him in trouble, or others for being judgmental. Dah! Now they can't understand why he's hooked on drugs, been incarcerated, has 3 illegitimate kids, and still can't make wise choices.<br />I used to tell my kids that their teachers weren't paid to like them but, to teach them. Of course I wanted the teachers to like my kids but, hey, some years there was just that personality conflict. I had one friend who was like this. All her son's problems were the result of teachers not liking him or coaches being unfair.
