How to Raise a Deliquent Kid, part II

I had such fun last week with this topic, I decided to add two more rules from an old (probably 50 years ago) Houston, TX Police Department pamphlet, Twelve Rules for Raising Delinquent Children. The "rules" say, you may be raising a delinquent if you:

* Avoid the use of "wrong." He may develop a guilty complex. This will condition him to believe later, when he is arrested, that society is against him and he is being persecuted.

* Pick up everything he leaves lying around. Do everything for him so that he will know how to throw all responsibility on others.

Hmm, know someone today who needs daily discipline?
